Tasty GF babka
GF Babka was a generous size and had a good taste. The chocolate folded in the batter was slightly bitter, as it should be when cocoa is used, and balanced nicely by the slightly sweeter chocolate mini-chips on the top. Held up well for several days in the refrigerator. Compared to the online picture, the babka we received was darker on top. Because babka is a drier bread, it’s hard to say if it was slightly over-baked or just light on the syrup brush, but it was very good. Worth reordering.

Have always enjoyed the treats at MB&B and have had success both in-person at the NYC stores and ordering shipping for myself. Just wish there was an easier way to ship the items as a gift to someone else. Was unsure if a specialized note could be added for the recipient or how the customer receiving the items would know who sent them. Would love to have clarified details on this with online purchases.
