Double Chocolate Cake Mix Recipes

Moist Double Chocolate Cake

CHOCOLATE CAKE

2 eggs

1/4 cup (60g) oil

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp water (90g) filtered water

 

CAKE: Makes one 8-inch round cake or quickbread loaf.

HEAT: Pre-heat oven to 350° F. Grease pan with butter or cooking spray.

MIX: Pour the contents of the mix into a large bowl.  Add eggs, oil, vanilla and water, and mix by hand or with electric mixer until blended.

BAKE: Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Place cake on wire rack to cool in pan. Cool completely before frosting.

 

CUPCAKES & MUFFINS: Makes 12

HEAT: Pre-heat oven to 350° F. Grease 12 muffin tins or use paper liners.

MIX: Pour the contents of the mix into a large bowl.  Add eggs, oil, vanilla and water, and mix by hand or with electric mixer until blended.

BAKE: Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups about 2/3 full.

Bake 18-23 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. For Cupcakes: Cool completely before frosting.
